Registration Matriculation

Matriculation / Enrollment:

All students admitted to Escola Americana are required to submit the following documents at the time of matriculation/enrollment:

1.      Copy of the student’s birth certificate

2.     Two 3x4cm pictures with the student’s name written on the back

3.     Copy of the student’s passport (identification page and visa page)

4.     Brazilian diploma candidates coming from abroad must have all academic records (from K to the most recent year completed) notarized by the Brazilian Consulate in the prior schools' jurisdiction and then officially translated into Portuguese upon his/her arrival in Rio de Janeiro.

5.     Brazilian diploma candidates coming from Brazilian schools must submit to the Brazilian Director the “Histórico Escolar” from K to the last school year completed within 30 (thirty) days of matriculation.

The following medical information:

6.     Doctor’s statement of the student’s physical condition

7.     Copy of child’s immunization records and a physician report stating that the vaccinations are updated and appropriate to the child’s age.
