Liga Intercolegial Futsal 2003

Dear Parents,

As you are probably aware our Rio League usually takes place at EARJ, however, this semester we were invited to participate at the “Liga Nike Intercolegial Futsal 2003” (only for the ones who were born 1987/1988/1989) to be held at different schools in Rio see official site: www.ligaintercolegial.com.br This Saturday 16th at 8:30am there will be an opening ceremony and an exhibition tournament (10 min game) with the objective of getting to know each other. The tournament itself will start either on the 30th of August or the 6th of September – confirmation will come next week, but coaches and athletes have to be at the “Ginásio do Botafogo de Futebol e Regatas, rua Venceslau Brás, 72 – Botafogo” this Saturday 16. We apologize for the late notice but since we are in the beginning of the school year opposed to all other Brazilian schools, we were only able to receive specific information this week. Either one of the Soccer coaches will be with them during the games: Mr. Rubens Rodrigues, Mr. Marcos Mendes, Mr. Marcelo Cecchi, Ms Mara Thompson, or myself. Please make the necessary arrangements to STAY with your son in the respective school that he is playing - see schedule on the site (if changes occur we will let your child know by posting the information by the PE office) during the whole game. Saturday 16 they have to wear EARJ warm up suit for the opening ceremony.
The application form was already given to the students and has to be returned at least one hour before the game on Saturday. Students also received the health form as usual and soon will be receiving the academic eligibility contract from their respective principals. Both forms must be handed in to their coaches.
