WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF ENROLLING MY CHILD IN ESCOLA AMERICANA?

Three Diplomas, Two languages, one objective – Escola Americana offers a rigorous English-language curriculum consistent with superior American and international schools. All students who complete the required credits and 12th grade are awarded an U.S. High School Diploma.  This diploma is recognized by universities in the United States as Escola Americana is accredited by AdvancED (http://www.advanc-ed.org/). Students may also opt to pursue an International Baccalaureate Diploma, an extremely challenging two-year course of highs school study recognized by colleges and universities worldwide. Student with a high level of fluency in Portuguese take courses that fulfill the requirements of the Brazilian curriculum.  Students who successfully complete these courses are also awarded a Certificado de Conclusão de Ensino Médio, recognized by universities in Brazil.

Escola Americana’s strong college preparatory program prepares graduates for university attendance worldwide.  Ninety-eight percent of our graduates attend university directly after graduation.   In past years, of those going on directly to university, 65% have entered universities in the USA, 10% in countries such as Canada, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Norway, Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, and 25% study in Brazil. Over 150 universities from around the world visit EARJ each year to recruit our students.
