1. Spelling List – handed out each Monday. Students are expected to learn both spellings and word meanings. 2. Spelling Test – given each Friday 3. Vocabulary List – key words are given each Monday. Students are expected to learn both the spellings and the word meanings. 4. Vocabulary Tests – given each Friday. 5. Home Reading - 20 minutes a day. Students need to complete the Home Reading Log and present to the teachers on a weekly basis. 6. Homework - written on the board Monday – Thursday (including Portuguese)- reserve 20 min. a day - special place at home (comfortable, equipped, quiet, and illuminated) 7. Agenda - parents are asked to sign it daily. |
