FIELD TRIP

| HI, BARRA FRIENDS!!!! | ||
| The Kindergarten is talking about
Transportation so we decided to make a field trip with the Barra
Kindergarten children. As soon as we picked them up we went on a ride
through Barra streets and our first assignement was to graph all the
different transportation vehicles we saw on the streets. We passed by supermarkets, a hospital, restaurants, clubs, and many other sites. We ended up at the airport of Jacarepaguá where we saw all the aircrafts and a special demonstration of an airport fire truck that sprayed water from several different angles. WHAT A THRILL!!!! The children then went back to Barra school and had their lunch and after that activities related to Transportation and a special visit from DUSO the dolphin who talked to them and had them make a "school of fish" activity. Time to go back to Gávea but first we sing goodbye to our friends in Barra. SEE YOU SOON BARRA AND THANK YOU FOR RECEIVING US! |
