PAWS NEWS

PAWS NEWS, our Lower School newscast, is an important part of our new and truly innovative LS MultiMedia Program. Fifth graders are involved in collecting, reporting, broadcasting, and highlighting Lower School learning and events. Third and fourth graders create animated commercials and public service announcements (PSA). Third, fourth, and fifth graders also learn about the importance of being media-wise and how to use the different persuasive strategies most commonly used in the media.

Paws News – August 2007

Ms. Monique Felio’s fifth grade class started to work on the pre-production and production stages of our “Paws News” broadcast. They are learning how to handle a camcorder, to plan a news story, and much more. Our first show this school year will be aired on September 28^th. Stay tuned!
