ON THEIR WAY TO CANNES....
The IB French students produced four films that were set in different neighborhoods in Rio. Two films were chosen to compete for the awards of Best Movie, Best Actor and Best Actress in an International Film Competition for French Students held at the Overseas School in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
The jury has yet to vote, but the avant-première screening of two short films (in the MuseOn) written, produced and directed by our IB French students, were widely acclaimed.
The IB French students produced four films that were set in different neighborhoods in Rio. The audience loved the histories d’amour and a visit by Asterix and his sidekick to the beach in Ipanema. Two films will compete for the awards of Best Movie, Best Actor and Best Actress in an International Film Competition for French Students hosted at the Overseas School in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Congratulations to our French students, Ms. Vera Nitsch and Erick Pessoa for their support and enthusiasm. We are anxiously awaiting the results and look forward to seeing some of our film directors in Cannes in the near future!
