The EARJ was proud to host its 1st Making Fair, this past Saturday at the Gávea Campus. Numerous families discovered this new making event in an afternoon of learning and fun. Together with volunteer teachers families were able to build new games, robotics, electronics and creativity. We look forward to the next!
Several dozen students from the Barra campus took to the stage to share some of their many talents with their peers, their teachers and their families. It was wonderful to see the poise and confidence of the performers. Energetic applause was heard from start to finish and we anticipate there will be even more students ready to step up and step onto the stage next year!
The Service Oriented Students Club have decided to partner with the Ecuador Earthquake Recovery Fund and the Shoes for Ecuador Fund to help out the Ecuadorian earthquake victims. As part of the campaign the EARJ community came together to donate pairs of shoes that were slightly used as well as financial contributions. Last Friday, May 13th the Community showed it's support by dressing up in yellow, blue and red. A big THANK YOU to all that participated and supported this cause. The campaign was a great success!
