International Day – Only at EARJ!

The one and only EARJ International Day took place at the Barra Campus on a very special Saturday family-day-out event! In celebration of our rich culture diversity we celebrated EARJ’s 52 nationalities with amazing culinary delicacies,  games, cultural discoveries, dances, performances… and a lot of fun! 

Over 400 families were there wearing their country’s colors and/or typical clothes on the International Day Parade. Some of the countries represented were: Canada, Argentina, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, China, Denmark, Finland, Germany, France, Greece, Jordan, India, Italy, Mexico, Czech Republic, Norway, Portugal, Serbia, Japan, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, the UK, the USA and Venezuela.

This year’s International Day was a preview of the things to come as the Barra Campus continues to grow in size and as EARJ continues to develop a 1 EA Mindset. The combined resources, energy, and enthusiasm from both campuses create an event richer for the EARJ community; one that will provide increased opportunities for our students and families.

The Gavea and Barra PTA Boards plus a great number of parents, faculty , staff and student volunteers worked hard to make this year’s event another huge success..and they did it! You are truly amazing!

It was a great time to share a lot of culture and knowledge. Thank you all so much for participating in this amazing event. We are very proud of you!
