Don’t Lose Your Marbles!

April 7, 2016

Picking up on the Kite Saturday event’s success, we have invited the teachers from Rocinha to come again to the EARJ and show us and bring back a long lost childhood game: Marbles!

Marbles is not only a fun, positive activity, but most importantly it is a way of preserving the culture of “playing outside” that needs to be preserved and passed down from older generations to younger ones.

Join us on Saturday the 16th, at 3pm for a day full of memory and play! And let’s welcome the members of the Rocinha community once again.

International Family Day

April 6, 2016

EARJ hosted on April 2nd one of the most expected commemorative dates of our calendar, the International Family Day. Through our traditional World Parade and culinary delights, our community members had the opportunity to get together and    celebrate pluralism and our diverse community. Over 18 countries proposed fun, country-themed activities that highlighted our experience! We would like to extend a big Thank You to EARJ’s PTA and all community embers that works dot make this event yet another great success.

ALL Star Student/Teacher Futsal Game

April 6, 2016

On Tuesday, April 5th, the EARJ US STUCO held it’s traditional All Star Game. Every semester EARJ gets together to watch a cheer in a fun, friendly game of Teachers/Staff against Upper School Students.  This is a time where we all come together to appreciate our community and have lots of fun.  This semester we held a game of Futsal where Teachers/Staff won 3×1! Congratulations to all! We look forward for the friendly come back game next semester.
