An IB World Continuum School - Empowering global citizens through inquiry, knowledge, and leadership
EARJ is proud to be part of a globally connected network of International Baccalaureate (IB) Continuum schools around the world. The IB continuum is composed of three programs across age groups:
The Primary Years Programme (PYP)
For Early Childhood and Elementary students aged 3–11.
The Middle Years Programme (MYP)
For Middle School and lower High School students aged 11–16, preparing them for and leading to the two-year Diploma Programme.
The Diploma Programme (DP)
For upper High School students (aged 16–18), preparing them to culminate their high school studies at the same level as college or university academics.
INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE MISSION STATEMENT
“The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end, the organization works with schools, governments, and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate, and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.”
The aim of all IB programmes is to develop internationally minded people who, recognizing their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet, help to create a better and more peaceful world.
