University and Careers Counseling
Guiding students toward purposeful futures in global higher education, careers, and beyond
At the Escola Americana do Rio de Janeiro, our University and Careers Counseling program provides comprehensive, individualized support to students and families as they navigate the journey beyond high school. Grounded in our Purpose, Mission, and Vision, we equip students with the tools, guidance, and confidence to thrive at universities around the world—and in the lives and careers they choose to build.
We believe the university exploration process is a moment of discovery not only for students, but for families as well. That’s why we intentionally include parents as valued partners at every stage of the journey, ensuring that decisions are informed, reflective, and well-supported.

From Grades 9 to 12—and through strategic partnerships and resources beginning even earlier—our expert counselors offer high-impact programming, one-on-one advising, and access to world-class tools to guide each student in defining and pursuing a path that is uniquely their own.
