Counseling Program

The High School University Counseling program begins in Grade 9 and has been designed to support all students with the college and university process through a holistic approach. We provide students with the necessary tools to be reflective, inquisitive, and open minded. With the help of Bridge U, our college application platform, we provide resources that allow students to find their own academic and personal strengths, while trying to match them to a school in which they will find success.

Each semester counselors will meet with parents to discuss future plans, university applications and career planning.
Targeted structured planning and research for university applications and personal statements.
Throughout the year the counselors meet with students from Grades 9 to 12 to start and/or continue to develop understanding about the college process.
A number of schools visit throughout the year and students from Grades 10 to 12 are invited to attend during lunchtime or Student Hall periods.
