Inspiring Creativity from the First Sketch to the Final Masterpiece
Arts - Lower School
The Arts are a vital component of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP), supporting students in developing their creativity, confidence, and self-expression. Through both Visual Arts and Music, as well as innovative spaces like our Makerspace, students explore the world around them and express their ideas in meaningful and imaginative ways. The Arts provide rich opportunities to connect to the transdisciplinary themes, develop the ATLs, and build on learner agency. Our Arts program nurtures curiosity, cultivates an appreciation for diverse cultures and perspectives, and encourages students to engage with the creative process in ways that are personal, purposeful, and joyful.

EARJ's comprehensive arts curriculum, encompassing visual arts, drama, music, and design, nurtures creativity and critical thinking. By fostering a supportive environment that values individual expression, we empower students to experiment, take risks, and discover their unique artistic voice. Our dedicated teachers provide guidance and mentorship, helping students develop the skills and confidence to excel in both academic and artistic pursuits. Through this holistic approach, we instill a lifelong appreciation for the arts and equip students with the tools to express themselves creatively.
