Finding Your Passion Beyond the Classroom
Discover the activities that help Panthers explore, connect, and excel
At EARJ, learning extends far beyond the traditional classroom setting. Our diverse student-led clubs program is the heartbeat of campus life—a dynamic space where Panthers explore unique interests, collaborate with peers, and develop the leadership and citizenship skills needed to impact a changing world.
Whether designing a robot, debating global politics, or partnering with local communities in Rio, our clubs offer every student a place to connect, grow, and contribute.

Club Guidelines & Participation
WHO CAN JOIN?
Most clubs are open to all Upper School students who wish to participate and explore new activities in a supportive environment. For Honor Societies, membership is by invitation and based on academic achievement, dedication to service, and exemplary conduct.
CLUB MEETINGS
To accommodate busy student schedules, club meetings are flexible! They take place during study hall, lunchtime, or after school, based on the availability of faculty, staff, and students (as decided by the club board and advisor).
Joining a club at EARJ is more than an extracurricular—it’s an opportunity to explore your passions, forge lifelong friendships, develop real-world leadership skills, and leave a lasting impact on our community.
