EARJ OFFERS
THE IB CURRICULUM

Escola Americana do Rio de Janeiro (EARJ) is a fully authorized International Baccalaureate® Primary Years Programme (PYP) school.

The IB curriculum aims to deliver challenging, high quality programmes of international education. IB programmes are concerned with students’ social, emotional and physical well-being.

The PYP is focused on children aged 3 to 11, designed to inspire them to take ownership of their learning from an early stage.

Our goal with the IB PYP at Escola Americana do Rio de Janeiro is to help children develop their individuality, autonomy and learning skills earlier than the regular curriculum.
