BRAMUN Conference 2016

March 26, 2016

Our student leaders had a wonderful time at the Brazil Model United Nations conference in Salvador, where they had the opportunity to practice their leadership, debate and research skills with other students from Latin America. BRAMUN, is a great way for students to be more aware of the global situation as well as put to use their critical thinking.

Destination Imagination Tournament at EARJ is coming up! March 18th and 19th

March 23, 2016

The EARJ hosted for the second consecutive year the Destination Imagination Tournament (DI).  The DI is “a program program is a fun, hands-on system of learning that fosters students’ creativity, courage and curiosity through open-ended academic Challenges. The participants learn patience, flexibility, persistence, ethics, respect for others and their ideas, and the collaborative problem solving process.”

We at EARJ strongly encourage students to think “outside the box”. We had a wonderful, creative time with teachers, staff, students and our guests from GRADED and PASB. We look forward to hosting it again in 2017!

March 23, 2016

This past Sunday, March 20th, the Service Oriented Students organized another successful Walkathon to help raise awareness and funds to the INCA’s Pediatric Hospital. The SOS has been promoting this event for years in a meaningful and profound partnership that has helped thousands of people get treatment.

Students, family, friends and pets joined us in a walk around the Rodrigo de Freitas Lake.

We are very proud to announce that this year the EARJ’s SOS will be donating the amount of R$ 60 000.00! Thank you to all of you who made this possible!
