Staff Gávea
Responsibilities:
– Develop procedures and anticipate crisis intervention for acute illnesses and injuries;
– Maintain, assess, and interpret cumulative health data to address the individual needs of students and staff;
– Plan and implement health management protocols for school-aged children and children with special health needs, including medication administration;
– Promote and assist in the control of communicable diseases through preventive immunization programs, early detection, surveillance, and reporting of contagious diseases;
– Provide direct health education and health counseling to assist students and teachers;
– Support teachers on student health matters;
– Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, school policy, and administrative procedures;
– Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and school facilities;
– Attend extracurricular activities beyond the regular school day;
– Attend faculty meetings and participate in committee meetings when requested;
– Assist in obtaining resources and support for students through Student Services;
– Perform other necessary and reasonable duties as assigned by the administration.
Requirements:
– Fluent in English (written and spoken);
– Degree in Nursing;
– Proficiency in Google Suite;
– Experience in health administrative functions is preferred;

The Administrative Assistant will play a crucial role in digitizing and cataloging documents, ensuring that our records are well-organized and easily accessible. In addition to document management, this role will involve various administrative tasks that support our daily operations.

-Document Digitization: Convert physical documents into digital formats using scanning and imaging technology.
-Cataloging: Organize and maintain digital records with accurate metadata for easy retrieval.
-Administrative Support: Assist with general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and office organization.
-Quality Control: Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of digitized documents and ensure adherence to data protection policies.
-Process Improvement: Contribute to the development of efficient document management processes and systems.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Administration or related fields.
-Proven experience in administrative roles, with a focus on document management or data entry.
-Proficiency in using office software and document management systems.
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
-Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities:
– Deposit each receipt according to the Cash Flow or as directed by your supervisor;
– Manage the EARJ bank account by providing daily statements for reconciliation;
– Verify all payments; prepare checks for signature and/or make online payments available for authorization;
– Control/register/verify all payments billed to EARJ;
– Manage and control petty cash;
– Attach all necessary documentation to the checks when sending them for signature;
– Request prior approval, contract, or memorandum for all payments received by the Treasury Department;
– Interface between financial data and the Accounting Department through documentation of financial and banking operations.
Requirements:
– Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Economics;
– More than 1 year of experience in the field;
– Knowledge of Google tools;
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;

EARJ is looking for an experienced and accomplished Temporary Upper School Art/Drama Teacher to join our Gávea campus team.
The ideal candidate has an Art License degree; 3-5 years of experience as an Art/Drama teacher – preferred if in an international school context; a skillful practitioner in multilingual classrooms; a motivated learner who accepts responsibility for their own growth; someone who thrives in an atmosphere of transformational leadership; is passionate about learning and skilled in high-impact 21st century instruction; and, most importantly, teaches students not subjects.
